By the time you actually reach Baldur's Gate it feels like you've domesticated most of your companions. It’s weird man, I’ve realized that most people don’t value honesty in practice. They care about keeping the peace and not rocking the boat. They can know something is wrong, but if it’s unpopular to say, even when they’re given a golden opportunity to say it, they just won’t. I wish more people would just be ok with being disliked. Who cares if other people think poorly of you when you’re just saying what is so obviously true? The truth is the most important thing in almost every situation.
